I have to add that recently I've read the book called "The Coral Castle" by Andris Stavro, the Latvian writer who investigated the Fate and the Way of Edward Liedskalniņš. Most probably it's the real notable publication on this topic. From this you will know that the real name Hermīne Lusis. Other than that, the story contains very small details about Edward's life. I have an impression like he was an Alien in the Human skin. It's not really clear how he spent his youth years and how he travelled to America, and where he's got the money to buy the land to build the Castle.

But these stones really exist! And Edward built them. Even few years ago there were alive witnesses, and may be some of them are really alive. Of course, some witnesses are not the proof of the story... but the stones are still there. And it's obvious that a regular human can't repeat this thing easily.
