Latvian prostitutes can't have gigolos legally. They can work only individually. But this of course is happening not in every case.
On January 22th, Latvian government accepted new changes in the criminal law. Now prostitutes are not allowed to work out of living rooms (i.e. outside on streets), and they can't work too closely (min.100 meters) to the public places like schools, churches, government institutions and so on.
Any girl can be prostitute, if she has a health condition reference and works in her own room which she rents or owns. Despite of it if her neighbors are against her services, she must stop them.
That actually means you can't call a Latvian prostitute and invite her in your own apartment. If such happens, you can be fined with 500 Lats. If something like this happens within a year, there is a criminal responsibility. As well it is illegal to recommend certain prostitutes private way and populate the prostitution in whole.
