Let continue to see from another angle, the one from a tourist (half tourist since I also have a flat in Riga....I am there once a month). I was in Riga for new year (around one week) and I have to admit that I had one of the nicest new year in Jurmala with friends (Latvian and russian living in Riga). I have been in contact with lots of friendly persons....and then of course (as always) I decided to party a bit and went to Studio 69 and had lot of fun EXCEPT when group of tourist was behaving with no respect and no maneers....so what to conclude. As always and each time I am in Riga I noticed in old city group of foreigners (drunk....discussed...disturbing others). So honestly I can really understand the reaction of Plomb and others on this forum.
Latvia is a nice country but if can make a personnal comment....has commented one mistake accept this mass invasion of un-educated tourist just coming to Riga for sex....(sorry but let be honest!)
