is it illegal to date with younger than 18 years old?

I know there is a lot of *illegal* cases happening with dating with the girl younger than 16 years old. It's definitely illegal.

However 18 years in Latvia means the person can drive a car already. Any local dating site you may visit, is full of girls profiles starting from 16 years. I think that's the limiting age of crime actually.
